This just isn't a food pantry... the love, care and respect that each person receives reflects upon the foundation that Minnie's (and Minnie herself) pride themselves in giving. So many people from ALL socio-economic levels have been hit by this depression that find themselves in need and Minnie's is there to help. Not just with the normal canned goods or other donated items, but to have an environment where people can actually "exhale" even for a moment.
May the blessings continue to flow for Minnie's Food Pantry and the people that make it happen.

Honestly, volunteering at Minnie's is an amazing experience. At Minnie's you are helping others in a positive and optimistic environment. While everyone is working, there is peppy music playing and people get to know each other while they work. Everyone has fun and is truly happy to be there. The people the Minnie's serves are treated with the same positive and welcoming attitude. There is a red carpet laid out for the people served. Volunteering at Minnie's is special because you do more than feed people,you give them hope. Hope is just as important as the food. Now stop reading this review and plan your trip to Minnie's right now! You won't regret it!

I am a dance major at Southern Methodist University. For one of our classes, we all came to Minnie's to volunteer and get more involved in our new community. However, I was blown away with how much fun I had. The energy there is so vibrant and extremely contagious. It was organized and efficient, but aslo very personal and endearing. Mrs. Cheryl is so dedicated to her cause. I love her motto: "If you can't feed one hundred people, feed just one." We worked like a well oiled machine while grooving to classics like Michael Jackson. It was a great way to spend my Saturday morning. Being a part of her movement for even a short period of time was an extremely rewarding experience.

I volunteered at Minnie's and was amazed by the positive environment and effective, yet fun process. They work extremely hard to provide quality foods and their organization and passion makes the entire process work seamlessly. I have gone twice now and would definitely go back to volunteer! It was a fun experience!

Volunteering at Minnie's Food Pantry was all around a rewarding experience. Throughout the morning I had the opportunity to do many jobs and engage both with those we were serving and those serving alongside me. Meeting and interacting with the people we were serving made it a very personal experience. Everyone at Minnie's has amazing energy, excitement, and willingness to give that is absolutely inspiring! I am excited to volunteer again!

I recently volunteered at Minnie's Food Pantry as part of a class requirement. However, it turned into so much more. I had such a great experience because I had the chance to really help others, but I also had fun with the work! All of the individuals involved were helpful and friendly, treating the clients with all of the dignity that they deserve. This nonprofit really addresses an issue that can be overlooked, and I applaud their efforts. I will definitely be volunteering again!

My experience at Minnies Food Pantry was an eye-opener. I was given the great privilege of meeting those I was helping. I enjoyed this very direct line of communication between the volunteers and clients. All of the individuals involved in this nonprofit were incredibly enthusiastic and welcomed the volunteers with open arms. I will definitely be visiting again.

It has been an honor and a great pleasure to be apart of Minnie's Food Pantry. Every day is a new experience and this organization has provided smiles, food, and hope for thousands of people. If i had to sum up Minnie's Food Pantry in one word then it would have to be incredible! People unite from all different walks of life for a common purpose and it has had a lasting impact on this community. So very proud and grateful to be in the midst of great people who are doing great things!

I love Minnie's Food Pantry and everything that it stands for. Minnie's Food Pantry gives their clients more than just meals, they give them hugs, laughter, smiles, and hope!

My school brought me and a few peers to volunteer early on a Saturday morning and I loved it! There was great energy and all of the people working love what they do-- so refreshing to meet people that are so passionate for helping others!
