Our mission is to support combat-wounded military service members, and surviving spouses of those killed in action, by offering programs that facilitate a successful transition to civilian life. Our programs include home donation, academic and employment assistance, as well as opportunities to develop life skills that are essential to achieving success.
Our Homes4WoundedHeroes and Homes4GoldStars Programs have, to date, awarded over 710 mortgage-free homes combat wounded veterans, and Gold Star spouses. Through our robust financial mentorship program our Heroes have paid off a combined $12.5 million in debt.

I can't say enough about this amazing organization. They have made such a hard transition a million times easier. They've taken so much stress off of my family. The beautiful home we received has been an amazing blessing

MWSF awarded me a home in 2014, here I am 4th of July weekend in 2016 with a lock on my door and no notice. I'm scavenging for resources with my service dog. I am a Purple Heart recipient and they treated me like trash when I couldn't pay unnecessary fees on time due to being on a fixed income. This entire experience has been a nightmare that has left me homeless, hungry and alone.

After reviewing all the information i could find on this charity i have come to the conclusion that this is a very high speed program to help my battles out. My wife suffers from PTSD due to MST because of scum bag NCOs while she was downrange in Afghanistan and i am a medically retired army combat veteran that was injured in Iraq and we have 4 kids now. When we got out the army it was like we where case aside and forgotten about. The only thing i was ever any good at was taken away and my family suffered because of it. We racked up debt, rental judgment and are still living day to day as of now. I pray that the military warriors support foundation reviews my wifes case because we filed under her and we get into the program and a home for my family. I was raised to qork for everythjng butbim very limited due to my disability and my kids deserve a better future. This program for a mortgage free home and into this program. I would shout the name of this organization and be a honored to help them any way i could if they did this for us.

My husband and I were just awarded a home through MWSF. We are so grateful to have our first home where we can raise our son and build relationships in our new community. Our experience with the organization has always been positive and we are thankful to everyone who has helped us along in the process. We are so excited to have a home to call our own.

Today on Thanksgiving Day 2015, we are thankful to Military Warrior Support Foundation, for their kindness and for changing our lives in the biggest way. On Nov 18, 2015, our family received a mortgage free home, that was and is beyond what we could have ever dreamed of. Our cup runneth over of JOY and GRATITUDE for this foundation. The amazing people who work for this foundation have just blessed our socks off!! How can we ever say thank you enough?? We can't...Our families lives have changed now from generations going forward b/c of MWSF, Humana Military, US Bank and Five Brothers. We are so blessed by this foundation that my wife and I just wanna be apart of what they are doing, we would love to work with Military Warriors, play apart in these blessings and we want to continue to change lives, pay it forward and help these great men and women and their families. Its kind of like once you get a taste of this blessing, you just want to give it back. Pay it forward.
My family would also like to Thank God the Father, our Jesus Christ for this tremendous blessing and favor shown towards our family. We love you Lord!
The McAlister Family, (Jason, Lendie, Emmy, Jack and Sam)

Where do i start, I been with this program for about a year now. Since i been in the program I one person got fired, another one quit. My mentor is ready to quit, she don't like the way they tell her to handle her veterans. I live in a hotel more then my house, the house shouldn't been give to anyone. To get anything done for the house it take three to four months. by the time they ready to start repair your home it would of cause more damage to the house. Program Manager Family Transition & Mentoring, which is a new person but couldn't due their job as a Family Financial Coordinator | Family Transition. If you want to give to someone there another charity just like this, which is way better. Oh......... I must add check into the house once you get it, you will found out that you owe back taxes, you have fines on your home. The home warranty not paid, so when you trying an fix things without them you can't.

Military Warrior Foundation has been a HUGE blessing to us. Between them and Operation Homefront these two organizations surpass every kind of word that could describe awesome!!! The ONLY one thing that we wish is that they could stay in more contact with us after blessing us with our BEAUTIFUL home! However, they have done SOOO much more for us than WWP! And you can see it, especially with the new program that they have coming out with vehicles for veterans... Like really.... Who does that??? Who besides this organization has shown this much LOVE and care for our brave men and women?? So far just two that I've seen, and one is Military Warrior foundation!

Before MWSF my family of 8 was living in a tent until we could get any VA benefits before we even thought about looking for a place to live. It was early summer when we received a call that we had been chosen to receive a house! The relief was so incrediblely overwhelming we had to stop driving to process the information. We received our house in June of 2013 and have not regretted it in any way. Through the process we have learned a great deal about ourselves and what we can accomplish outside of the military. We have learned how to live off a stricter budget, how to approach ANY type of credit and most of all that there organizations who are honest and have not forgotten about us once we leave service!
We have had the opportunity to meet many of the people from the foundation including Ken Eakes, Gen. Cisco, Andrea and many others while enjoying many events with those people and have even made friends with others through these meetings. This program is a blessing and a learning experience for us and we are both very grateful and appreciative with humble hearts for the opportunities the foundation has given us.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
none! I would want to help this organization in some way.
How would you describe the help you got from this organization?
How likely are you to recommend this organization to a friend?
How do you feel you were treated by this organization?
When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
