Our family was awarded a home this month and we couldn't be more thankful! My husband was injured 6yrs ago in Iraq and then again 4 yrs ago in Afghanistan, which led to him being medically retired from the Army. We didn't know how we would every be able to own a real home to raise our three kids on just a retirement income. MWSF has given us a new outlook on life with this award. The application was easy enough for my husband to fill our without getting frustrated, the staff has been fantastic with answering questions promptly, and From applying to being given our keys was less than a 60 day turnaround!

My husband was injured in an IED blast while serving in Afghanistan on 21, Sept. 2009. He sufferred catastrophic injuries to his entire body, two TBI injuries, PTSD, and survivors guilt. Our lives were changed forever that day. We were overwhelmed with our situation and blessed beyond words when we heard we had been selected by MWSF! We are going to receive a mortgage free home! The best part being it would meet the disability needs of my husband, my hero, a combat wounded warrior who has a heart as generous as MWSF!!! We can never thank enough all persons and organizations for removing the burden of "where are we going to find a place to live that will accomadate his disabilaty needs and us." We have been blessed and I believe this is an organization worthy of recognition for all they do. Having a place to "live" isn't the same as having a place to call "home!" "Home" is comfortable because you are "safe." "Safe" is knowing your home isn't "dangerous" to those you love!!! When we are presented with our home, it will accomadate the diability needs of a wounded warrior and be safe and comfortable, it will be "home." Thank you MWSF and God bless you all, Tom & Sandee R.

We have known several veteran families that have applied but, because they already owned a home before the Combat Injury they are immediately denied. I think this should be changed. Obviously, military families don't plan on the service member being injured or die in combat when they go to war. Therefore, I don't feel they should be penalized for that. In most situations, the veteran's spouse must quit their job to help care for their wounded spouse and are in much more need because they no longer have that second income they once depended on. Hopefully, you can consider this the next time you deny a family.

The efforts put fourth by MWSF to ensure wounded service members are not left behind are by far the greatest gift and act of recognition by a non profit. After devastating wounds and grueling recovering I stepped by into the civilian world and onto a advantageous position because of there efforts. Thank you. Sgt Martinez

Military Warriors Support Foundation has helped me put my life back together and put me back on my feet. The help that they have provided me is more than I ever could have hoped for or dreamed. My family and I cannot express how much they have made a difference for us and are future. We thank them and hope that they can help others that have been injured in combat and need help getting their life back in order.

Military Warriors Support Foundation is an excellent organization that under-promises and over delivers on their commitments to both the veteran and their trading partners. Uncompromising integrity and honesty has been my experience in dealing with the organization for the past couple of years. The mentoring program they require the veteran to commit to complete is one reason their success rate is so impressive with the veterans maintaining the home from both a financial and physical viewpoint. I am pleased to be associated with this great organization.

A truly life changing foundation. I am a wounded warrior from OIF and received a mortgage free home from MWSF. It is still hard to quantify how receiving this donatation has changed my life and set me well ahead of other young adults my age. While there are many exemplary organizations out there for our veterans, I have yet to see one that concentrates so much tangible donation per individual. The staff is top notch and full of knowledge, the transition from applying for the home to moving in was extremely smooth due to their hard work. Their staff does an amazing job of following the veterans throughout their first few years in house by maintaining a strong personal support system. Truly a life changing organization!!!

Changed our life with a home for myself, my husband, and our 3 beautiful girls. After moving from apartment to apartment we finally got a place to call home. This is an amazing program! My eyes are getting watery thinking about the people involved and their generosity .
