We preserve and restore sight, through transplantation, research, education, and partnership.
Thanks to the genorosity of eye donors and their families, dedicated volunteers, charitable contributors and an amazing staff, more than 77,000 people have received a second chance for sight since the Michigan Eye-Bank was founded in 1957. In addition, our Gift of Hope Eye and Vision Research Program has awarded nearly $3 million in the form of grants and student stipends to help find treatments and cures for blinding eye conditions.
