As the Chariman of the Board of a small agency that falls under Met Council's umbrella, I have benefitted form theri guidance and support and I have seen how they have helped the agency professionals.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Helping our agency retire one executive and orient a new one.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

There total commitment to the process and availability of the CEO

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Deidcated, helpful, understanding

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Significantly improve the quality of life for the city' neediest.

I worked for Met Council for about ten years; first running two SROs in Seagate Brooklyn and then as Director of Social Services. The Agency performs "heroics" on a daily basis; from helping folks in crisis to supporting individuals in finding employment and housing. All done in the "Jewish" way; with humility, tenacity and great skill.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

the months folowing the 9/11 debacle.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

deeply committed professionals.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

raise awareness on Jewish poverty and improve the quality of life for all populations in need.

My experience working together (I am the housing director at a non-profit in Midwood, Brooklyn) with the this superb organization has been tremendous. The level of dedication of the staff and of the central office is to be emulated. This organization ought to be given as an example of how to run an efficient, cohesive and fulfilling non-profit.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

The last few days having worked with certain clients that we share.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

make it less centralized

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the vast ability of its network.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

dedicated and knowledgible

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Help more poeple. In this economic climate that does not seem feasible.

Ways to make it better...

it was easier to access this information, through the city.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

funding

One thing I'd also say is that...

it has diverse support
