I attended a MARR banquet several years ago and have since worked with one of their silent auctions. I have associated with several who have gone through the program. It is so heartwarming to see these individuals get back their lives and to see how they have returned to promote the program. The individuals that I know have turned their lives around and are living proof that this program is a success.

As a member of the recovery community, and as someone who got sober in Atlanta, I have been impressed with the level of recovery that MARR provides. The people that I know who have attended MARR have outstanding recovery, they are committed to staying sober, and are working strong programs. An outstanding facility!

MARR helped my Mom get sober when I was 5 years old. I am now 17 years old, and I am grateful to MARR for giving me a Mom that is sober, present, wonderful.

My wife got sober at MARR in 1998 and has been sober ever since. She participated in their professional program for 10 years and thank you to the people there for their wonderful work. MARR is a very special place that helps many, and I like that they focus on the spiritual aspect of recovery.

Thank you, MARR! You gave us our brother back, and we are eternally grateful.
Metro Atlanta Recovery Residences has been proven to be based on the right stuff—God, family and self. This combination, and time, works. No 30-day drive-through program will offer the same long-term benefits that
MARR does. It is a faith-based commitment, with the added support of family and adopted MARR family that ensures success.
Our brother was "missing" for three decades. He'd gravitate back to us to hibernate for a while, then whirl out on his own orbit again. This cycle, fueled by meth and alcohol, went on and on. His denial and our ignorance kept it all going.
Finally, our brother-in-law confronted T. He'd heard about the miracles of MARR and took our brother there. We siblings went through the process as family and are closer together because of it. Now we ALL can enjoy each other, and each day with grateful hearts.
Please spread the word about MARR. It is a large, vibrant, caring family that will help you save a life, and through that life, many others.

The changed life of my brother has saved many other addicts, and healed our family. I have also seen it change the daughter of my best friends, who is currently in recovery at MARR.

Make MARR more widespread throughout this country and others because its philosophy WORKS.

MARR was instrumental in changing the dynamics of our family. A family member attended MARR for three months. He has been clean for almost two years. Previous attempts with rehabilitation were unsuccessful. The experience at MARR really changed his life - and his family's life.

Words
cannot express our gratitude!

I would not make any changes. We need more organizations around the country like MARR.

MARR was the turning point for my son's alcohol addiction. He entered the program when he was 20 years old and in college. Today he is 31 years old and has been clean for 10 years. He follows the 12 Step Program which he learned while at MARR and he gives back to his community and still attends AA meeting at 3 times a week. The emotional and educational support they provided to all of us in our family will be with me always. Thank you to all the people at MARR.

Even though I am not an alumni of MARR, I have many close friends who are and they most assuredly would not be a useful member of society today without the assistance and guidance of MARR early in their journey. I have participated in MARR functions over the years and I do not know of an organization and their volunteers/alumni with more passion than those who have attended MARR.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

the many people that I consider friends today.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

suggest more public awareness through marketing and professional associations.
