Programs: We serve young women aged 13-28 from all over the country struggling with life-controlling issues such as eating disorders, self-harm, abuse and neglect, drug and alcohol abuse, depression, and unplanned pregnancy. We have three U.S. homes located in Monroe, LA (20-bed facility), Nashville, TN (40-bed facility), and St. Louis, MO (30-bed facility). Our fourth domestic home is under construction in Lincoln, CA (40-bed facility). Each home follows the guiding principles of unconditional love, accountability, and excellence. We provide the following program services: 1) Residential Care: At no cost to her, each girl enters Mercy Ministries of America with a six-month timeline and receives Biblically-based counseling, individualized nutrition and fitness education, life-skills training, and aftercare planning. 2) Education Services: Through Mercy Ministries of America Institute, we provide curriculum-based education services for minors and GED preparation/training for eligible residents. 3) Pregnancy Services: We provide a Basic Decision Making Program which encourages residents to make educated, prayerful decisions about parenting or placing their child for adoption. We are also licensed in TN and LA as a child-placing agency. We provide extensive parental, adoption, and grief counseling for residents in need of these services. 4) Transitional Care: In 2007, we implemented a pilot transitional care program in our Nashville home to provide emotional, spiritual, physical, and educational support as our graduates transition to independent living. We are evaluating this program, and developing a model to be replicated in all of our homes. Approximately 75% of the young women who enter our program graduate ready to act as a productive citizen in her community. Our graduates can be found on the mission field, in corporate jobs, in college, and at home raising families.

I am so very grateful for ministries such as Mercy Ministries who genuinely exist to help girls with life-controlling issues and who's motives are pure in doing so. It is a free-of-charge residential program staffed with women who love the cause of seeing hope brought to the hopeless and lives transformed. Thank you God for this ministry! So MANY lives have been impacted and changed for the good because of it!
