Several years ago, I was invited to be a member of the Guild Board. I was impressed -- the Board members' main concern was the well-being of hte presidents. I got caught up in their enthusiasm and what they did to assure a positive and uplifting lifestyle for the people in the nursing home and Assisted Living Residences. Over these years, I have served as the Secretary, Treasurer, President, and now, past President. I am still motivated by the events we plan, the items we purchase, the tasks we undertake to benefit the residents; daily lives and comforts. Menorah Manor is a fantastic organization that operates a not-for-profit nursing, rehab center and assisted living facility in West Central Florida. Right now, Menorah is located in St. Petersburg, but, they are working on adding an assisted living facility in Clearwater. The organization is run by true professionals and supported by a large number of dedicated volunteers.

Members of my family have been short term residents of Menorah Manor while rehabing from surgery. I have known many friends who have been served by this wonderful organization.
