The CRCMC provides unduplicated services in their area, which is small and rural. Patient Navigators are supportive and kind, and go out of their way to smooth the path that patients must take as they deal with their cancer diagnosis.

the positive comments and fierce devotion I heard from clients.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

hire an additional Patient Navigator at the coast office and start to phase in a new Executive Director or manager of Patient Navigators so that the current ED can move into a more fundraising role, or retire.

how caring, thorough, and dedicated the Patient Navigators are.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

enthusiastic about the work they were doing and the positive effects they were having on people's lives.

provide transportation to cancer patients who need to travel for treatments.

the Patient Navigators weren't so overworked.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

the rise of cancer rates and the lack of qualified applicants for opening positions.

One thing I'd also say is that...

they throw one heck of a fundraiser every year in August!
