I was approached by a very close friend about the Make it Count foundation. Upon hearing the stories about the good work that this organization has done for our military men and women, I knew I had to be involved in some way. The sincere, unselfish people that I personally know who are invloved with this organization would give the shirt off their back for our military personnel. They would never be looking for any kind of pay back or political favor. I know that for a fact ! These are the type of people that have your back just as our solders do for their fellow soldeirs out there on the front line. This foundation truly believes that it needs to do as much possible to help our military personnel re-acclimate themselves into civilian life. Our men and women of the military need and deserve more Foundations like this for all they have done for this great country !

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

In talking with a good friend who is involved in assisting returning military personnel with housing.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

The only change I would make is to see if I could get more involved to help make a difference !

As a supplier to the building industry, I was able to provide materials to the foundation to support two of their projects. Both projects were professionally organized and seem to have gone very smoothly. I look forward to visiting one of these jobs in the near future.

The organization did a very nice job replacing doors at the Veterans home.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

It seems they have some great leadership and could probably just use some more bodies in place to help them do more.

Our mission is to provide resources for Optimal Health, Housing, and Education. We have granted over $108,000 in our first 15 months! Our programs have included back to school backpacks, educational scholarships, and housing projects for Veterans.
