I am so appreciative and grateful for the help the Make it Count Foundation gave to me upon graduation from high school. i was able to meet with Mr. Reese and Mr. Corcoran and was given advice that will last me a lifetime. I look forward to keeping them updated on my college education and beyond, as I know I will never forget the help and guidance they have given me. I hope to someday be able to pay it forward as they have done for me, inspiring me to always make it count.

A great group of people helping local military families and children. Doing home renovations, supporting local children sports programs and providing school backpacks for the needy.

Make It Count brings the energy of a visionary leader to help members of our military with housing needs. Nothing contributes more to the dignity and well being of our returning heroes than safe comfortable housing. Those of us on the board are proud to be part of this great effort

Make it Count Foundation has touched the lives of many, for me it has been an eye-opening experience. Everyday life sometimes takes over the small important things life has to offer. But Make It Count has allowed me to put some things aside and reach out to help those in need. I feel very fortunate to have been part of this organization and plan to continue to help in whatever way I can to improve our community.

I volunteered time at the VFW Hall in Patchogue, where I helped frame an extension. The experience was fulfilling and the people there were extremely appreciative. It really makes me want to get out there and do more for the community.

What the Make It Count foundation is doing is just great. Helping local Vets in small ways that make a huge difference in their lives. Seeing the improvements made at the VFW and the shelter make me proud to volunteer my time for Make It Count. It is a small foundation working hard to raise money to help the people that serve our country.

Seeing the older Vets so happy with the work completed that they now will be able to get an elevator that is so badly needed. It was nice to witness the end result.

There are no changes to be made. I see a new foundation working hard to grow to be able to help more people. Make It Count has kept it simple and focused their efforts on those who may have been overlooked yet need help badly.

A member of my office staff was involved in the building of a ramp for a veteran who was having difficulty getting in and out of his residence. He told us when we were done that we don't realize how the smallest obsticals effect our daily routine. He said the ramp would give more freedom and independence. His gratitude made us more determined to help whenever we could. Keep up the good work and please notify me for future projects.

Make It Count Foundation is an incredible labor of love of it's founder Jon Reese. This non profit was created simply for one purpose: to help people in the Long Island community by providing resources for optimal health, housing and education. I have experienced first hand how Make It Count makes a difference in peoples lives whether one is on the giving or receiving end. Make It Count Foundation transforms lives now, enabling those we influence to achieve their own personal potential and in turn, help others do the same. The Make It Count partners include United Way of Long Island, Great South Bay YMCA, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island, Habitat for Humanity of Suffolk, VFW of Patchogue and Suffolk County United Veterans. Whether it's a child, veteran or someone in need, Make It Count will ensure that your donations are put where they are needed most.

eventually like to expand the reach throughout the United States. Phase one is building the Long Island initiative.

One of the things this organization has done this year is helped a local vetrans organization with remodeling plans to make their facility easily accessible for people with physical disabilities. Make It Count provided materials and labor to get the job done. It was a great effort and the improvement is appreciated by the entire community.

I am familiar with the work that Mark Sagliocca does with the Make It Count foundation and I am very impressed with the results. In my opinion we do not do nearly enough for our vets and it is fantastic to see an organization like Make It Count helping those that have sacrificed so much.

My husband and I have been hosting “James” an injured serviceman at our home in Vermont for 5 years now. He comes for a ski weekend through the Wounded Warrior Program. As we have gotten to know James it became clear that going back to college was going to prove to be a big financial burden. Through the help of the Make It Count Foundation, we were able to offer James some assistance with his tuition. This was just the motivation he needed to get back in the classroom and finish his degree.
James is now married and owns his own house. He attributes much of his success to the help of the Make it Count Foundation.
