"It may be those who dream most, do most" MAD is all about a dream.Being best friends with some of the spear-heads of this dream, has driven me MAD! And I dont regret it. The personal involvement of each volunteer, the heart warming stories they share of individual children they have come across in the program and the sheer passion with which they go about making a difference talks about MAD's commitment to that dream. Starting with a bunch of college kids, how this organisation has spread allover India and in such a short time is a testament to their vision. What I like best is their superb organisational hierarchy and management skills with which they ensure maximum efficiency and productivity from their volunteers. Making a difference is a serious business! They also make it easy for absolutely anyone to pitch in,no matter which corner of the world they are sitting in. If MAD warms your heart, you can help! Kudos to their entire team, Hope they can shine the light of knowledge in a lotmore childrens' lives.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

committed, exuberant and passionate. They were the most random and myriad group of people, but with a shared zeal towards the cause. They were also extremely well versed in their subjects and were great with the children.

A vibrant team of youngsters with a social mission. Nothing can dilute their enthusiasm and passion to serve the lesser gods of their generation. Had been to a camp organised for the children of MAD's associate orphanages. Was truly humbled to see how all of them laughed, interacted and had a great evening. Touched by the display of love and affection the children shared with every member of MAD. Sure it wasn't just about being grateful for providing a great evening. It was surely about a life-long relationship, an intense feeling, for enabling their lives to face the world outside of their orphanages. The team has all qualities required to take MAD to greater heights. However they badly require funding to support their dreams. But they are also against crass commercialisation of this noble endeavour exploiting the children. The team is very protective of the childrens' dignity. To me it gives all the more reason for any genuine individual/corporate who wants to support a real cause, not being bothered about any donor publicity. Perhaps it is also the reason why MAD is still unable to find a suitable donor. I'm convinced to become a member of MAD, don't know when. Not sure if I can match the commitment and dedication they demand from a MAD member.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

that it really can make a difference to this society.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

vibrant, passionate and committed young minds.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

eliminate the word 'orphanage' as MAD can expand its operation across the country, and its members would become brothers and sisters to all the lesser gods.

I've been associated with MAD for over two years now. While searching for a non-profit to be associated with, I chose to support MAD because their work has very direct and discernible results. The focus on teaching English allows for the entire organisation to work towards only one thing, and the results are equally easy to see. Many non-profits have too many goals, and after a while the purpose gets lost. MAD's strength is the clear focus on one objective.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

a orphanage MAD works with very close to my residence.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

create more ways to measure the results of the work so that the progress does not stall

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

their untiring spirit and the energy in every project undertaken.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

very motivated and focussed

Ways to make it better...

I had been able to contribute more significantly with time and resources

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

managing the growing size without losing the focus and effectiveness in improving the chances of every single child being taught

One thing I'd also say is that...

many challenges have been overcome and many are ahead.

It is so gratifying to see young citizens of India being passionate about the community and chipping in their little bit to improve the life od children in India. It is commendable especially considering the fact that elders with much more reach and monetary backing are turning a blind eye to this growing need..it is an example for the government to learn the fact that small deeds can make a huge difference. MAD About Something That Matters ! A tireless campaigner - MAD is a true lobbyist for children and change. The energy and passion with which the team at MAD works, be it fund-raising, be it motivating & supporting the under-privileged children with their enthusiasm & dedication they are truly exemplary ! The catalyst for change they are, educating & reinvigorating the children - the true inheritors ! I have been associated with this noble cause more as a donor assisting the frontline workers identify others. The amount of drive and determination that these workers move around with. They as individuals, their conduct, their cause, the team players they are, collaborative style of working with other organisations, the inspiration they are to their peers. They influence the youth around them - their peers in activities like these, to chanellise the 'energy of the youth' in productive & constructive channels. Such initiatives embibes a sense of service which further percolates only to enable them become a better citizen, an asset to the community & creative administrators. The innovative ideas they are to bome up with, the PR skills they need to project for the desired couple to make these 'cause champions' market compliant for the next career leap. They are dedicated to enriching the lives of others. The combination of business acumen and dedication to innovative social services is a rare blend that will serve our community well into the future. Would also like to make a mention of the on-line platform they put to use to remain in touch with the patrons, keeping them posted on all their initiatives adds to the transperancy in this sceptical, doubt-cast world. Their passion and vision for strengthening people, families and communities is apparent to everyone they meet. As a donor giving to charity or “prosocial spending” makes me happy. The so-called helper’s high.

MAD is testimony to the fact that each of us can truly make a difference in making things better for the underprivileged. It's truly enthusing to see the passion, energy and commitment that the MAD group of youngsters keep putting in to build on their initiative. The best part is that their contributions are very practical and make a high impact in genuinely improving the lives of the young children.

I still remember MAD's humble beginnings and how my close friend was actively involved in it. I too felt my need and responsibility to contribute but never did I, but the sheer growth and success stories behind MAD will be one testimony to what I will/can do for others. I wish all the best to MAD and its members .
