Well, MAD is one of a kind organisation. The enthusiam of kids and the passion/spririt of volunteers make it a once in a lifetime experience for all involved. The noval idea in itself, to have the kids(underprivilaged ones) dream, to empower them with better education speaks for the NGO. Also being a volunteer, though for a short period of 6mnths, has made a diff in me too... such tht I see myself returning to being an active member in MAD...

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

I was among the starters at snehabahvan(cochin).Initially we had to sweat out to have the kids listen to us.But soon, they started to be seated pateintly for us.

The interaction with the kids. The delight in their faces as they meet us every week meant a lot. The realisation that 2 hrs a week from us, could build/add to something like MAD

the volunteers have been outstanding.

I joined MAD to work on my social project as part of a course I was doing. The project ended, but my experience with MAD didn't.I was an active member in MAD for more than a year. And the kind of feel it has left in me is evergreen.MAD is all about doing our small bits for the society and a better future. Its no small thing and you will definitely have something worthwhile to remember in your latter days.GO MAD!

Make A Difference (MAD) has taught me the real meaning of being mad and has given me the confidence to dream for something which people often tend to forget. I have been a part of this NGO for almost 6 months or so and yea I have no doubts about the effort put in by the so called MADdies. The level of professionalism shown by the volunteers and the teams in different cities all over the country is simply commendable. My experience of being among the kids has been among the most satisfying and its true nothing can replace the happiness derived through teaching and being with these kids ever. My kids whenever I meet them are really happy and are more confident in meeting new people than they were before we started our classes for them. People believe me the feeling of being a MAD volunteer is something no one can estimate unless they themselves join this amazing organization.

excellent, serious, confident, daring, jovial and most importantly everyone over here is chasing a common dream for a BETTER FUTURE.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

build up its very own English teaching institute where English Education could have been provided free of cost to anyone who wants to learn forgetting all forms of discrimination.

"Science is the changing face of mankind" I opine it. What a man desires -he can develop through science. It's not which happens in laboratories is called science, science is everywhere in our every interaction. Science is learning & teaching in it's highest order which can be understood by all. i do this duty holistically to eradicate social evils from our society. I teach my children English. I consider it as God's premeditated decision that i should help for the betterment of the underprivileged. I want to see my children in much better position from what know they are:more knowledgeable, more decisive, more wisdom, much strength to stop the swirling currents of ignorance. Here i request the reader to search through & through mentally to see THE TRUTH in it's form. The Truth about the abysmal conditions & necessities. And by requesting so i shall leave my writing's here. My Commitment to Humanity- For every hand in need, i will sow a seed. A seed of strength, hope & love, untouched by the weed. I shall stay in the line, in every rain & shine. And watch it grow a life divine. A Child's Voice- Sitting in your lap, i begin to clap. The world will tap, seeing my purple cap. To the world's end, have my worries lend. I see no end, when you're my friend. ---- When the door of knowledge is ajar. I see the bridges not too far.

My experience with Make A Difference has been simply fabulous! Just to be with those kids and sharing valuable time and knowledge and just the fact that they looked up to you for inspiration was a humbling experience. It made me realise that Money doesnt buy everything. Time, education, values, moral insights, life skills- They all contribute. My experience at the St. Teresa's Children's Home just humbled me. If I could do my bit and help mould the futures of these kids, then with a combined effort we wouldn't have young children losing out on their childhood. They can live to their full-potential and be on par with the privileged lot even when it comes to job opportunities. They are making the Youth more responsible and giving these young minds a future. I recall the incident when a group of these kida at the orphanage were sitting around keenly and asking me what I studied. They were brimming with curiosity and eager to go out and explore. Make A Difference is really creating a difference. I wish them all the very best for the good work they are doing.
