Lutheran Family Services in the Carolinas receives five starts from me because of the stellar service they provide to all of God's children! I am so proud to be a part of an organization that takes seriously God's call to walk with the most vulnerable. It is difficult work but by God's grace, children, young people, families, veterans, refugees and others enjoy a new start in life. Decisions at the board level are surrounded by prayer as we strive to be good stewards and caretakers of all that we have been given. I am so grateful to serve such an amazing, life-changing organization.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

refugees who have gone on to live productive lives.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

want to share with all the world exciting testimonies of lives who have changed for the better.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the people I work with.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Amazing! This type of work can sometimes leave people burned out, but I thank God for the dedicated staff.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

continue to live out its call of walking alongside the most vulnerable for years to come.

Ways to make it better...

I had more of them. I can't wait to increase my involvement!

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

the difficulties in working with the government.

One thing I'd also say is that...

I am proud of the heritage that encourages us all to continue to seek out folks who are hurting and try to help them.

LFS provides a wonderful, broad range of services to many of the most vulnerable people in NC & SC each day. As a board member I've been impressed with our incredible staff who are devoted, professional and caring. Surveys and reports from our clients show a high degree of satisfaction with their care. The management staff are constantly finding methods to improve our services in a difficult financial environment with reductions from state and federal entities.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

record keeping, accountability and improving services through the Colloborative Solving Method

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

continue to be forward thinking and always strive to improve every service

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

working with a talented, professional staff and volunteers that truly care about our clients and their progress

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

exceptional !!!

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

impact and improve many lives

Ways to make it better...

my experiences have only been positive

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

dealing with fewer financial resources while client needs increase

One thing I'd also say is that...

this is an outstanding organization
