I was lucky to be present when Lucy's Love Bus gave moral, logistical and financial support to help a dying 12-year-old girl go home to die rather than having to wait it out in the hospital. I saw how the family was reconnected with the girl and given the tools and love to deal with each other throughout the crisis. It was amazing. Check out the various links to this charity.

Lucy's Love Bus is a unique non-profit organization that delivers comfort to children with cancer through free integrative therapies such as massage, acupuncture, and therapeutic horseback riding.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
hearing from the children who we are helping. It is very moving to see how much these therapies help with pain management, stress, anxiety, range of motion, muscle building, and children's overall sense of well being.
