I am so proud to be a part of this organization. Having two adopted children and having traveled overseas to bring them home, I know the great needs of orphanages in Eastern Europe. This organization grew out of a deep concern for the well being of the orphans we met while adopting our daughter in Bulgaria. It was impossible to walk away and forget what we had seen. As the Chairman of the Board of Directors, I am committed to this cause and seeing to it that we meet our goals.

The Great!
  • I've seen the results of this organization in... the commitment of the Directors and the Board, the speed in which it was incorporated, received non-profit status and applied for NGO status overseas.
  • What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is... seeing how the organization has made a difference in the lives of children overseas.
  • The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were... Dedicated, caring, hard working, and committed to helping make a difference for the children.
  • If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could... ensure the health and well being of every orphaned child in Eastern Europe.
Ways to make it better!
  • My experience would have been better if... we were able to secure enough donors to completely fund the Infant Nutrition Program on a monthly basis.
  • If I ran this organization, I would... continue to get the word out that we exist and are in desperate need of on-going support for our programs.
  • In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are... the state of the economy and the decrease in contributions.
  • One thing I'd also say is that... this is a very worthwhile organization. The directors, the board and its volunteers all have a real commitment to seeing that Love's Hope International's programs are a success.

I am very proud and honored to be a member of this worthwhile organization. Love's Hope started as a homespun idea that developed into an organization with a mission to improve the lives of every orphaned child living in Eastern Europe. The founders of Love's Hope International, Inc., are two individuals who as adoptive parents of children from Romania and Bulgaria, experienced the poor living conditions at the orphanages, and were determined to make improvements in the lives of the children a reality. Once incorporated as a legal, non-profit agency, the leaders hit the ground running. Fund-raising efforts began immediately and with the first round of donations, new windows were put in at the orphanage in Pleven. Love's Hope actively sponsors an Infant Nutrition Program and has a new project in the works to replace the roof at the orphanage in Kazanlak. Love's Hope International is involved in many other educational, medical and social programs for the orphans, but we need additional support. Please help us help others and make your donation now!

The Great!
  • I've seen the results of this organization in... the monthly progress reports discussed at the monthly board meetings.
  • What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is... the leaders impart great enthusiasm and determination to see to it that these children benefit from our hard work.
  • The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were... genuine, caring and willing to make an effort to help these children in need.
  • If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could... accomplish its mission of improving the lives of every orphan in Eastern Europe.
Ways to make it better!
  • In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are... finding donations, we need a lot more money to do what we want to do for these kids.

Love's Hope International, Inc. is one of the worthiest organizations that I can recommend. I have been associated with the organization for about a year and I have been most impressed with the organization and its leadership. Recently the school organization that I sponsor has adopted Love's Hope as a key community service project. We have partnered to supply toothbrushes, school supplies and toys to boys and girls in foreign orphanages. We hope to raise some money to add to the organization's purchase of a new roof for one of the orphanages. Above all, I have been most impressed with the amount of personal time, effort, energy and personal finance that the organization's leadership so freely gives to the boys and girls in need. It teaches a very important lesson to the students in our organization and it serves a very worthwhile cause.

The Great!
  • I've seen the results of this organization in... the organization member's willingness to give so freely of themselves and their material possessions.
  • What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is... knowing that we are helping to make a difference.
  • The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were... wonderfully generous, organized and friendly.
  • If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could... literally, save thousands (if not hundreds of thousand's) of lives.
Ways to make it better!
  • My experience would have been better if... a few of our club members could have accompanied the organization's leaders on their last trip to Bulgaria.
  • If I ran this organization, I would... not change a thing!
  • In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are... the desperate need of the children in Romania and Bulgaria and the lack of the adequate funds needed to meet those needs.

Love's Hope International provides the opportunity to people to assist children in orphanages with basic needs and nutrition that are taken for granted by many. The founders have seen firsthand the assistance these children need. As an adoptive mother myself, I also understand this and support them 100%. I am proud to be one of their volunteers trying to make a difference in these children’s lives.

The Great!
  • I've seen the results of this organization in... supplying the money needed to a child to have a life saving surgery.
  • What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is... the drive behind the founders to make a difference.
  • The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were... one of the co-founders was my son's adoption case manager.
  • If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could... improve so many, I mean so many children's lives!!!
Ways to make it better!
  • My experience would have been better if... I had more time to give.
  • If I ran this organization, I would... just keep on going no matter the bumps in the road.
  • In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are... the economy.
  • One thing I'd also say is that... this is a great organization, please take the time to support.

Since, at this point in my life, I have been unable to physically be involved with the orphanage work, it has been my great privilege to make donations to this worthy organization. I know that the money I give goes directly to the help of the orphans. I have observed my niece and others who have adopted children from Bulgarian orphanages, who have taken on the responsibilities and care that the lack of proper supplies has created for these children. I am most happy to be a part of something so beautiful and helpful.

The Great!
  • I've seen the results of this organization in... a child receiving a needed operation.
Ways to make it better!
  • My experience would have been better if... it couldn't have been any better!
