This is an AMAZING organization that has impacted many women and children in such a positive way. It also had such an impact in my life and my approach at life. I'll never forget my experience and am so proud of all the staff that has been a part of this organization.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

working as staff. I was able to create fun activities for the children at our Wednesday meetings, and build friendships with the residents.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

so many life lessons I learned about myself and others. I saw my own strengths and weaknesses through others and was able to gain so many skills in life.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

absolutely amazing. They were so supportive of each other, and the residents. They put everyone else before themselves and looked out for the well being of all.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

do so many amazing things. I can't begin to say what they could do.

I helpd out the mothers by watching their childern while they went to school or work on Saturdays. I did not charge and I did not mind. I gave free rides to appointments and provided resources when ever I could. I love how Pacific LifeLine changed my life and the many mothers that were changed as well.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Many everyday trials. They remember my birthday they help me with connections for my car. PLL has been very generous with helping my son make long-time friends. I can't say enough GREAT and wonderful things about Pacific LifeLine. Their the BEST.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Make sure ALL of the women who've gone through the program are checked up on, on a daily basis(monthly). Provide more connections to laundry facilities, councling & child care discounts, so that the women who have left the program can continue to strive.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

meeting the moms they have helped over the years.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Generous and kind. They help out with the childern and clean up all the time. No one has to ask "why am I doing this?"

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

help out the women who leave the program (i.e....housing, laundry, child care & councling).

Ways to make it better...

I could meet ALL the moms at a big party for them.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

So many women, have sooo many issues, it's really hard to customize all of the wants and needs.

One thing I'd also say is that...

I am so GLAD & Grateful that there are local programs for women to turn to. Pacific LifeLine is great.

I have been working with this charity for several years and it has been a joy. I love to see the items that are given and the wishlists that are forfilled. The care that is put into helping the mothers be able to support their families emotional, and physically. The prayer that is given and just work that goes into making the families a success touches me in very special ways.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

My Husband and I helpd w/a woman in the program & some behavior was not favorable but after the issues were resolved the resident came back and apoligized and took ownership. This was a change from how it would have been handled in her lifepreviously.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Hard working and committed

I lived at Pacific Lifeline for just over a year. I can absolutely say that it was the most important event that shaped my future. My family thrives now. I know that none of it would be possible without this program. They opened doors and gave me opportunities that I just wasn't able to on my own. Not only did they take me under their wing, but when it was time to move out, they helped me find my apartment. Then they helped me get into a program to ensure that I could afford it! They have continued to provide love, support, and assistance for me and my children for almost 10 years now, and I know that isn't changing. I have also made life long friendships with the other residents and staff. Hands down the best program there is!

Pacific Lifeline is truly unique in their approach to empowering women to be self sufficient. Pacific Lifeline undertakes the objective to provide skills training, education and practical experiences to develop women that will be capable and qualified to become self sufficient in a tough economic time and competitive job market. Bravo!

On Saturday prior to Mother’s day, Pacific Lifeline member and recent graduates were invited to participate in a mini-makeover day. This was an opportunity for the Mom’s to receive some pampering and to reconnect with the recent graduates. These graduates from the Pacific Lifeline program help current members to realize that self sufficient is a goal they can achieve.

Lifeline is a committed non-profit that moves beyond charity. Charity is great, it is important to give, but Lifeline moves toward justice. They look see women redeemed, transformed, loved, empowered and it happens, time and time again. There is a reason why the graduates of their program stay committed to the shelter for years and years. We need more organizations of this mold.

What I love about Pacific Lifeline is that they truly embrace the notion that if you give someone a fish they eat for one day~but if you teach a person to fish they eat for a lifetime. Pacific Lifeline truly empowers women to better their situation and 'graduate' into great contributers in our community while encouraging others to do the same.
