Review from Guidestar

The Listen Foundation has been providing funding for Deaf and Hard of Hearing children for over 40 years. I have been one of their contracted therapist for 30 years. I have personally seen the transformation that occurs when a deaf baby or toddler learns how to wear hearing aids or a cochlear implant and then learns the meaning of sounds and finally learns how to talk! Without this intervention a Deaf child would be limited by the would of sign language. 95% of deaf children could learn to listen and speak, this organization helps provide that opportunity.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

.....the eyes and the lives of children! When a child hears for the first time...when a child says "mommy" even though the pediatrician said that the child would probably never speak! This organizantion changes the direction of a child's life for ever.
