LINK of Hampton Roads helps reduce homelessness in the Hampton Roads area. One of their missions dear to my heart is care for the homeless. Since there is no permanent homeless shelter on the Peninsula - they coordinate the efforts of approximately 80 churches to provide shelter and two warm meals for over 100 homeless each evening during the cold months.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

so many ways. I have worked with this organization for 4 years. I have seen the homeless receive shelter, food, job referrals, clothes and tools that were needed to work at a new job, bus tickets to get to a job interview, annual flu shots. There are so many great things going on.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

like for them to receive more in grants and donations so that they could do even more good.

More feedback...

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

They truely treat you with great respect and there concern for my safe well being was outstanding at all times.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

There key staff are very well trained professionals. Who really love and care about each and every person who comes through there doors each and every day. Brenda Moore does an outstanding job on training and matching up each and every volunteer

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

And would help many more people. Lynne Finding and her staff would see to that.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every week

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
