Lighthouse Ministries is a great nonprofit organization. I attended two of their workshops - one dealing with drug and substabce abuse prevention, and the other, helping to reduce violence and crime in our community. There were over 60 young people in attendance at each workshop. As a former drug abuser myself, my life was changed just by attending the drug workshop. At the other workshop on crime prevention in Memphis, TN, over 25 young people agreed to relinguish violence and work towards mutual tolerance, peace, and good citizens. At each workshop, food and drinks were provided freely to all attendees. Today, I am telling other young people about the dangers of substance and drug abuse. Thanks to this fine charity - I am a changed man from drug abuse.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

my own very life. I do not do illicit drugs anymore.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

do nothing. Just encourage them to do more so as to help more young people like myself.

I have been voluntering for Lighthouse Ministries, Inc in N'Zerekore, Guinea, West Africa. We have been educating the local populace on HIV/AIDS prevention; educating against combatting the deadly disease, malaria. We have also distributed up to date, 5600, mosquito nets. This is a very good organization. We still need more mosquito nets, and clothes.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

The many great good jobs the organization continues to do in Africa. Besides, Guinea, the organization provides social services in Ghana and Liberia.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

increase the need for more volunteers, more funding, and more mosquito nets and clothing. Mr. James Wolobah and team are doing a wonderful job in educating and protecting lives in Africa.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

the refugee community where we live. They distributed over two thousand mosquito nets to protect us from malaria. This has made a big difference in people's lives here.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

not run this organization as they already have very competent staff and people.

More feedback...

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

They listened to our concerns carefully, and with a sense of compassion, they provided assistance. They also taught us how to stay healthy.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

very knowledgeable, professional, caring, loving, and very supportive.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

do some very great humanitarian gestures. They are trust worthy, honest, caring, and compassionate.

Ways to make it better...

I had had an earlier encouter with this great nonprofit organization. They were a blessing to us here.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

getting funding and resources to meet the many needs of people.

One thing I'd also say is that...

I call on people everywhere to support this organization in anyway possible. They are credible and honest.
