In late November, 2008, I called Hopeline. An operator on the phone saved my life. I owe so much to those who volunteer for the hotline.

helpful, understanding, and kind. The operator on the phone with me stopped me from committing suicide.

The people I have met through HopeLine have been competent, honorable and warm-hearted. I feel as though I am a better person for the time I spent as a volunteer there.
