We have known about Kitty Cottage since it was founded ten years ago. Last summer our two dear adopted cats passed on at ages 17 and 16. We were very sad and wanted to provide forever homes to other cats. We visited Kitty Cottage and found it to be a warm, home like environment with the cats cared for by kind volunteers and expert staff. They introduced us to all the cats and provided thoughtful descriptions of each one. The volunteers spent hours with us over three visits so that we could get to know all the cats. Every cat was wonderful. We just adopted an eight year old cat who has brought much happiness to us. We are returning for another cat in a few weeks so our Annabelle will have a companion. Kitty Cottage is a no kill shelter and accepts surrenders and rescues. I am going to become a volunteer when I retire because this is a wonderful place with great people and a meaningful mission.

If you love cats and have a special place in your heart for all those kitties who do not have families of their own, you would love The Kitty Cottage. Here, kittens and cats of all ages and needs are free to roam a three-story converted house. They are cared for as we care for our own felines and can stay at The Kitty Cottage forever if they are not adopted. The loving volunteer staff will gladly take you on a tour of the house, complete with cat furniture, plenty of beds, toys, blankets, and special rooms for pregnant moms and newborn kittens or sick/unsocialized cats. No one is caged or restricted beyond their needs. Please provide support in whatever way you can to this wonderful shelter -- or consider adopting one of the cats that live there -- you know they have already been loved!
