Mission: We provide leadership experiences with children through volunteerism and fundraising.  The children helping are learning leadership skills, gaining confidence & wisdom, and those receiving are feeling loved, getting needs met and tasting hope.  We fulfill monetary and moral support to those in need.

Results: What started out as a really simple idea from a 10 year old to simply raise $240 for a child in Africa, turned into a leadership academy for kids that has raised over $100,000 in the first 3 years for children in need. To date they have given thousands of dollars to orphans in Haiti, a counter trafficking program in Ghana, Africa, homeless children, various local kids with severe medical complications, sent 6,200 zip lock bags filled with candy to our troops, started a global pen pal program, sent 500 backpacks filled with school supplies to children rescued from trafficking, 175 stuffed annimals on Christmas Eve to a children's hospital and books to chilren in remote areas in the Philippines.

Target demographics: All demographics, ages 5-18yrs old with a sweet spot on 10-15yrs of age. The "crutial" time in a teens life.

Direct beneficiaries per year: Trafficked children, homeless children

I have witnessed the transformation of youth perspectives in just ONE leadership workshop/class. I had the privilege of joining a workshop recently about adopting accountability and integrity as a daily practice for empathy and social change. I saw kids of all ages lining up afterwards asking the instructor if they could please bring the program to their school. The content, delivery, impact, and retention is unlike any youth empowerment course I have ever seen. Students from diverse backgrounds, different age groups with different socioeconomic statuses, social groups, academic performance levels and self-esteem challenges we seeing each other for the first time as a human spirit and not what they look like or how much money they have. It was beautiful.

A simple idea spawned from a pure heart has now grown into an organization governed to free children from the bondage of their environment. We are who we see ourselves to be and this is what they encourage all children to see themselves... free and walking in integrity in their hearts, mind and soul. All who come into contact with this organization will be inspired to aid and become participants their cause to free the children.

I met Laura Page after my magazine wrote a story on her and her son Tyler Page over three years ago. Since then I have seen all they have accomplished, and all they strive to accomplish and I am amazed. Every child should be a part of her leadership academy because they have so many skills to gain, that they will never learn from school, or even home. Parents can learn too.
