I have learned from personal experience that the admin of KSCVK are honest....to say the least, and they are loving, caring and desiring to make a difference with what they do.
The Great!
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
they helped me out when I did not have money for my first child's wedding. We had been scammed, and did not have our savings, and they came through and the wedding was great. They even helped me do the wedding on that day, with all the details.
Ways to make it better...
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
give them more money and more staff to continue to increase their work!
before our first child (daughter)became engaged, we discovered that we were victims of a scam involving all the money we had saved towards our children's wedding/s. Devorah found out about it (since we live in the same neighborhood) and contacted me. She helped us out with all necessary expenses which we could not deal with at that point. We did give her money back at a later date, but she did not expect that, and was willing to help us in any way she could. She saved us in our situation, we didnt know what else we would do
The Great!

Ways to make it better...
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
Devorah's warmth and enthusiasm in wanting to help us,and her personal touch to all involved.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
warm and kind and devoted.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
go far, but also needs staff that will be organized and work together well to continue the work it is doing.
Ways to make it better...
Devorah would have the finances to have a secretary or a proper office with which to expand and organize the work
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
money ! (and some organizational skills)
One thing I'd also say is that...
Devorah's husband and children are just as kind and devoted and wonderful!

When we got married, 36 years ago, it was a "hole in the wall" affair, Crown Heights had no organization that offered a hall, flowers, band, caterer. I was deliriously happy with my husband but bereft of all the simchas choson v kallah I'd dreamed about. Now, everytime I go to one of KSCVK's weddings, I think Hashem and the Benjamins for the proper setting for these 2 jewels.

I have known Devorah for many years, she has helped many friends and family members make their weddings. She has helped plan their weddings, mainly for free and has taken the majority of the burden off on the big day. She has helped classmates from England, family from the USA and friends from Israel. Her caring, love and personal attention goes beyond anyone's expectations.
