K S V K is an amazing organization. It is almost single handedly run by Devorah and one or two helpers/volunteers, and she is amazing. Not only did Devorah help me over the phone with my own c hlidren's weddings, out of town, when she didn't even know who I was at the time, but she has since helped one of my children's friend with an incredible wedding. She helped us raise money to pay for a wedding that was NOT an embarrassment to a financially poor kallah and chossen, she helped every keep their heads up high and be very proud of themselves on their special day.

that their funds are used SOLELY for the non profit. Their overheads are not high and one feels that every penny one gives goes directly to them.

I give KSVCK tzedakah whenver I can and have been priveleged to witness Devroah Benjamin in action. Planning weddings is the foremost thought in her mind. No matter where she is or where she goes, she's amazing, the chosson and kallah are the ones that take precedence no matter what else is going on. Whether it's at the chinese auction, cake baking auction, out of the streets on Erev Yom Tov, Purim and other special moments collecting money with her basket she always has a smile on her face, always has warm words to share. she's a real mentsch. She has a special talent to make a Chosson and Kalla feel special on their day and takes upon herself all the details and worries that make their wedding the most amazing and happiest day of their lives!

My father is a social worker working for a non-profit. Needless to say I do not come from a wealthy family. My husband also comes from a lower-middle class hard working family. We were both students, preparing ourselves to go out and make a difference in the world. (We are both involved in the non-profit sector until todey) We were willing to have a very simple wedding. Enter Devorah Benjamin of Keren Simchas Chosson V'kallah...We were were given the most beautiful wedding! Devorah helped us find the reasources and walked us through the detail of creating a wedding and setting up a home. What a beautiful way to begin our life together!

Devroah Benjamin never stops. She is always attending to this mitzvah. either it is an chinese auction, cake baking auction, out of the streets on Purim collecting and any other auspicious time to take advantage of she will be there. always a smile, a genuine person, a mentsch 1st class. She knows how to make a Chosson and Kalla feel special on their day and conserve funds at the same time - the couple wouldn't feel it - she is sensitive to that :)

Keren Simchas helps needy families have the wedding of their dream. Devorah Benjamin works endless nights organizing the hall, food, decorations band and so on. If not for Keren Simchas my parents would not have been able to afford my wedding. Devorah helps couples with no families or money have the best jewish wedding possible.

october of 2007 when devorah organized a beautiful wedding for me which i would have been unable to afford without her help. Her organization helped pay for the photogropher,food,hall and most everything else.
