I wanted to sponsor a young girl through 4 years of high school and was extremely fortunate to discover KEF. The whole team is behind Bradley's vision, which is to help people reach their potential through education and achieve a better life for themselves and their communities. I reached out to KEF and was paired with a wonderful girl, and feel we have a personal and meaningful connection because of the structure of this organization. I feel that I'm really making a difference, and it's because of the direct, personal, and transparent interaction that I have with KEF...unlike some donations that you give and you're never sure where the funds are going, or what the result is. Brad and his team have provided a fantastic path for me to feel as if I'm contributing to something good, and I'm so grateful for KEF! I intend to increase my involvement to include another student and would encourage anyone who wants to make a difference in someone's life, to get in touch with this fantastic organization.

My husband and I have been sponsoring the education of high school students in Kenya for over the past 7 years. In addition, my high school students sponsored a fund raiser 6 years ago and raised enough money to sponsor two Kenyan girls' education. Throughout the following years, my students have been corresponding with their sponsored "sisters" and it is through this interaction where we have all found out the impact the KEF has made in these children's lives. Many of these students rely on the KEF for not only their education, but a safe environment in which to live, for nutritional meals, for the camaraderie of other like minded young girls and for bringing them into the 21st century. Our original sponsorees have now graduated high school and the letters of gratitude and promise are inspiring to us all. Due to this, my students are once again raising the necessary funds to sponsor new students. Personally I believe it is rare to have a charity whose founder is so committed that he spends months out of the year to personally travel to Kenya to check on the students and assure that the monies raised are being put to the intended use.

I have been sponsoring the education of some young Kenyan girls for the past 5 years. I was fortunate enough to see the actual "fruits of my labor" when I made a trip to Kenya and actually visited some of the KEF schools and met "my students". The impact of my donation was huge. I was able to see first hand the equipment and overall improvements our donations made possible. I heard directly from the girls themselves how this opportunity changed their lives and their hopes for their future. It was wonderful to hear about their goals, and their dreams of helping their country and one day being able to "pass it forwad" to other less fortunate young girls. I communicate by mail with Clara and Judith ("my students") and the warmth and gratitude they express fills my heart. As a teacher in a private all girls high school, I have organized fund raisers where we have raised enough money for my students to sponsor two additional Kenyan girls. Now, the next generation of KEF supporters has started and will continue this wonderful work.

The KEF is a remarkable direct-to-the-people organization, with funds and support of all forms being managed directly by the founder and even some KEF alums! I have long been involved in the life of Bradley Broder, who founded this organization in 2005 after serving in the Peace Corps and finding his life's mission, and I must tell you there is no more dedicated and remarkably committed young man! The success rate of the KEF in providing young Kenyans and especially girls with the opportunity to complete their educations uninterrupted and continue on to fully developed adult lives is a joy for me to continue to support and remain involved with always. I have sponsored fully a successful graduate and I look forward to my new student's similar success!

Letters exchanged with my student were a joy to receive and to write in encouragement of her continuing her studies, even as she lived through difficulties one here, in the comfort of the US, can only imagine.

Bradley is "way ahead of the curve" and he continues to amaze all of us who know him as we witness how he accomplishes so much in such little time! I wish most that more people come to know him and the KEF to also have the opprotunity to be involved.
KEF is a wonderful organization providing education for students who otherwise would not be able to go to school. I know of no other better way to help the country. We get letters from our adopted son that we sponsor and he is so grateful for this opportunity to better himself and be successful in life.

As someone who has seen first hand the work that Kenya Education Fund in Kenya, I can speak towards the life changing work they do. The KEF has shaped the lives of many many young people throughout Kenya. They have not only provided the opportunity for students to receive an education, they have also created relationships between American citizens and their Kenyan students. Brad Broder, the founder, has committed himself to the integrity of the organization, supporting each child's individual needs. The organization's support of education for girls has literally transformed the way villages have seen the role of female.

I am a relatively new donor to KEF, attracted to the organization because my donation - whatever the size - goes directly to a Kenyan child's education. The fact that such a small organization sponsors 500 children demonstrates its efficiency and focus. I'm proud to be a donor and look forward to increasing my donations in the future.

I have pledged to support a young girl in Africa through 4 years of high school, and thus far have truly felt I have made a difference in someone's life. I like the idea of having a pesonal connection to that student rather than to some huge organization that I would donate to. By exchanging letters, I have gotten to know her and hear about her family and life. My experience with this organization has been so positive, and I know how hard the people in it work to make this happen. I am so happy that I became involved in this student (Alice's) education, and hopefully she will be able to continue with her education and make a difference in the lives of her family and village.

I receive wonderful letters from my student who is really working hard and taking advantage of the education she is being offered. I see the difference it has made in her life, and how she appreciates the chance she has been given. I think it's wonderful that this organization actually make a difference in a child's life.

I think it's doing just fine as it is. I think the people are very dedicated, hardworking and have wonderful spirit and energy.
My husband and I are sponsors of a young Kenyan girl and in our role as sponsor we pay for her high school education. We traveled to Africa 2 years ago and while we were there we had a chance to meet this lovely young lady. She was extremely appreciative and bright and informed us that this was her only chance to get an education in Africa. Her mother could not afford to send her to school. She writes us regularly and keeps us abreast of her progress. The Kenya Education Fund arrange for us to sponsor this girl and we feel that they have been an excellent support to all of us.
