Cultural diplomacy is an important tool of soft power that is able to represent a national identity. In case of Azerbaijan, Karabakh Foundation plays a key role in country's exercise of cultural diplomacy strategies in the US.KF is a good platform where Americans can learn about culture and traditions of Azerbaijan and the Caucasus area through social, art, and educational events in a friendly atmosphere.Thank you for all your efforts!

this is the first 501(c)(3) that deals with the culture, arts and history of Azerbaijan and its Karabakh region. Considering that bilateral relations between US and Azerbaijan have been growing steadily over the past 20 years, and the region is more and more important for U.S. policy- and decision-makers, we as a nation need to know more about it. This is where KF comes in, helping all Americans, whether children in schools or seniors in retirement homes, artists and intellectuals, educators and businessmen, at-home moms and students, to learn more about the ancient culture and arts of Azerbaijan. There is plenty to learn, from great medieval poetry to world-famous carpets to incredible mugham music to the Azerbaijani language which is recognized by the State Department as a "critical language" for Americans to know.
