Kaity's Way is a grass roots organization on its way to building a solid infrastructure. I've been meeting with their ED since October and have been impressed with the steps she has taken to guide the growth of Kaity's Way in a strategic manner. The mission is solid and there is passion behind it but that isn't what makes an organization sustainable. The steps Bobbie Sudberry and the Kaity's Way Board are taking will create the kind of foundation for this organization to continue to make significant impacts in its community.
The Great!
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
watching its founder advocate for better protections for teens in violent dating relationships. The result was the passing of Kaity's Law
Ways to make it better...
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
make sure the passion for the mission doesn't outpace its organizational capacity.

Due to the personal courage of Bobbi Sudberry, and the organization Kaity's Way- lives have been forever changed at The Catholic Charities DIGNITY Diversion Program. We were honored and grateful to host such a thought provoking and professional presentation for our staff, representatives from other agencies and clients
Bobbi presented a beautiful slideshow while telling the story of her teenage daughter Kaity, who was murdered by an unstable and possessive boyfriend. With a quiet sense of grace and dignity she brought Katy’s memory to life; she made sure we all “knew” her Kaity. She navigated us through her daughter’s relationship with a disturbed young man; from an innocent beginning to the isolation, the subsequent “red flags” in the relationship, and then to the unthinkable - Kaity’s murder.
All those in attendance, were deeply touched by Bobbi’s presentation. Despite, the tragic ending we all left with feeling of empowerment and awareness of safe teen dating, domestic violence issues, and the laws concerning them.
We welcome Kaity's Way back quarterly so many more can have this moving experience
