In a time and place (Sarasota, FL) where there are a great many non-profits who are often searching for ways to be vital, unique, and meaningful, KAETA has distinguished itself for being truly one-of-a-kind and providing a simple yet powerful tool. The connection between those members of our society with years of experience and vast knowledge and young people who have generous hearts and boundless energy is exceptional. A model program which should be mimicked around the country.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

...a variety of ways.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

...continue tweaking the excellent programs currently underway....

There is a lot of heart that goes into Kaeta. What we are learning about bringing an older and younger generation together is the importance of meaningful connections between the generations. When Kaeta puts on a presentation, the elder and youth participants are already on their way to having formed meaningful relationships - then they share their experiences with the community as a further bonding experience for them and an entertaining and inspirational event for the larger community.
Volunteers and contributors to Kaeta can be assured we are experiencing and continue to measure tangible results from our efforts to bring the generations together through the arts.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

seeing how grateful the participants are that the elder or youth has entered their lives. I have also seen how inspiring the participants are - and how much the generations' mutual support of the other means in the participants' lives.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

allow us to continue to expand and grow to be able to serve more people.

The knowledge and experiences an elderly person can give to the youth is one of our most valuable commodities. In return an elderly person can
feel revived by the energy of our youth. It's what I think is missing from
our youth is the perspective an elderly person can give.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

The connection you see when the two connect with non judgmental eyes is aspirational.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Florida is not the only area that needs this.
