The Jubilee Women's Center fills a vital gap in stopping homelessness one amazing woman at a time. Their program is different that most because Jubilee gives women long-term support to get on their feet and rebuild their life (and job) skills so they can be successful on their own when they leave Jubilee. I can't say enough good things about the work that Jubilee does, which is why I've been involved there for so long.

I've seen the growth that the women at Jubilee experience in direct result of the stability and program provided there. Their success speaks for itself!

I chose to volunteer at Jubilee because I think they fulfill a vital role in the city of Seattle. The space is well tailored to women and allows them a peaceful place to grow.

I signed up to design the vegetable garden as a source of fresh food, education, bonding, and peace for the residents. I found all those things for myself in the process as well.

Jubilee Women’s Center is a magical place, not only because of the resilient and tenacious women who start a new and successful life here, but also because of the commitment to service of the founders, the staff and volunteers to serve here. Jubilee, through its mission is committed to providing women a safe and supportive place to live and an opportunity to learn while becoming self-reliant in housing and employment

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Jubilee respects and values the intrinsic gifts and talents of each woman; offers a safe space and safe relationships and creating space to heal and a chance for self-growth. Jubilee values and honors each woman’s voice and draws it forth.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

I would hold it as a model for other homeless shelters to emulate regarding resident services, staff expertise and committment and volunteer support.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the deep committment to service in support for the women Jubilee serves.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

hard working, knowledgeable, and committed to the mission and the women they served.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

become a national model with homes and services across the nation.

Ways to make it better...

My 7 year experience with Jubilee continues to deepen and influence all other areas of my life. Jubilee plays a significant role in drawing forth the best in me, and in turn I hope I do the same for Jubilee.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

revenue streams.

One thing I'd also say is that...
