My name is Hazel this organization is the world's best kept secret for helping victims of abuse. Since being in a shelter at this facility 5 years ago I now have my own successful business. Because of the support and training in Johnnie's House Program it changed my life for the better. I am a independent woman now married to a man that truly loves me. Domestic Violence now is a part of my past not my future. Because of Johnnie's House I work with domestic violence victims in my community. Thanks to Johnnie's House for helping me and my children in 2007. Hazel California

Excellent agency, I would recommend anyone looking to volunteer please consider this agency who has worked with domestic violence victims for over 15 years. I would highly recommend this agency for those looking to volunteer their time and resources.

Excellent very caring and compassionate about the needs of their clients. I don't know what my kids and I would have done without the help of this great organzation. I will donate financially for life to this organization. They assisted me financially to help me acquire my first home and to cover legal fees. Thanks Johnnie's House.

work with getting more companies and individuals to donate monies and their time.
I would prefer not to use my name. But I contacted Johnnie's House after moving here fro a overseas. I met my wife online. Things where great at first but a few months after the marriage my wife became very abusive physically and mentally. I had know choice but to stay in this bad marriage because I do not have a work permit, I contacted Johnnie's House and they where able to help me start the process of changing my usa status and obtaining my work permit. I'm now in a safe place in a undisclosed location. Thanks Johnnie's House for the help you gave to me. You where a life saver.

I contacted Johnnie's House after moving here from a overseas. I met my wife online. My wife became very abusive physically and mentally. I had know choice but to stay in this bad marriage because I did not have a work permit, I contacted Johnnie's House and they where able to help me start the process of changing my usa status and obtaining my work permit. My name is mike, I am a victim of domestic violence. I found Johnnie's House on the internet. I have been married for 7 years with one child from this marriage union. The abuse from my wife has really taken a tole on me. I've had to file bankruptcy and now divorce. Through Johnnie's House Legal advocacy. I was able to gain assistance from their staff attorney to help me with the divorce. I will also begin counseling from their counseling services. i would highly recommend this to anyone expectually men, since there are not a lot of support for men. The staff attorney for johnnie's house is a male and also the director of counseling is a man. In closing I would highly recommend this agency to clients and also to donors that would like to financially support this agency.
