Lot of fun, we talk about pressing topics that are relevant to our religion. We organize to bring in speakers, advisors and pizza.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

Being with my friends and sharing ideas.

I love Niles North Israeli club. Every week we have a new and exciting event and it's simply great. Yep. I love it. It sure is so so so so so so so so so so so great.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

provide stronger facilities for its members, and better and more educational programming.

It has been great! I have been in the ETHS Israeli club for four years, and I am a president for my senior year. JSU always gets us to do the coolest things, and really shares the culture of Israel with both Jews and non-Jews in this diverse public high school.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

The way that non-Jewish students in my high school love to learn about Israel through Israeli Club.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

The really cool experiences we get to have because of the great funding.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Amazing! Everybody is creative, dedicated, and caring.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Create even more programs and involve even more students!

Ways to make it better...

It's all been great!

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

We get to learn about jewish culture and soon plan to engage in community service when as the school year gets rolling. The union provides our clubs with the funds to have felafel making days and all kinds of fun activities. Our school appreciates it so much.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

High spirited, good leaders, and informative about what we could do to help the community. It is inspiring to have their help.

Ways to make it better...

We could get more people actively involved in the organization

JSU provides Jewish teens the opportunity to get to know other teens with similar backgrounds and values to themselves. Most Jewish teens in public high schools are rarely given the opportunity to meet with others with similar backgrounds and heritage. As a sponsor of cultural club where JSU has been instrumental, I see the positive impact it has on the lives of these kids. I have also volunteered on trips the JSU has organized, which gave high school students positive and productive things to do during their summer vacation.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

expand its outreach base and improve the quality of its programming. If JSU hired more staff members they could be involved in more schools, as well as offer more scholarships for their valuable programming.

It has been fantastic! Really been an important addition to my Jewish education, and an important part of our school environment. We look at social justice under a Jewish perspective and it has been incredible. Learning about Darfur, Uganda, and everything under a Jewish lense - truly inspiring.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

INCREDIBLE. Marcy Felsenthal, one of the head staff, is incredible, inspiring, and amazing. I learn so much from her on a weekly basis and her excitement catches on like wildfire.

This is my first year as president of the JSU club at my public high school; I had some great experiences as a Freshman last year an more this year, including Jewish Apples to Apples, a sukkah party, and an epic gaga tournament. This past week, we had an Israeli soldier come in and share her experiences.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

All were extremely friendly and well-prepared to run the club, and were good at interacting and connecting to both Jewish an non-Jewish students, and adults.

What a great opportunity for Jewish Highschool students to meet and be involved in so many Jewish experiences in the place they spend most of their time. Helps to keep teenagers connected to their roots in a way that makes sense to them.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

kind and available for the kids

It's been a ton of fun, and I am very comfortable in the surroundings of Jsu. Playing games and doing activities make it fun, but I learn as well. I look forward to it.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

extremely friendly. I always look forward to walking into a friendly, supportive, fun environment. I have made friends and learned more about my religion at the same time.
