I've participated in several classes and lectures they led at the Hazon food conference and other places. Fantastic educators and innovative thinking on environmental issues! I also love their calendar.

Really change the way the Jewish community in America and around the world thought about their relationship with the environment and food.

I took classes with Jewish Farm School at the Teva Conference as well as worked with them on the Eden Work day camp and their representative came to for a session at the JNF/Brofman fellowship. They provide us with insight on the environment as well as practical skills.Natti's Permaculture classes are my favorite.

Very well organized organization with a real knack for touching the heart. I enjoyed learning with them about food and medicines from the earth.

I attended an alternate spring break trip with the Jewish Farm School earlier this year. The trip was both engaging and educational - we had enlightening conversations and discussions about food and food systems while we worked to actually produce it and explored the farm itself and the surrounding area. That the trip brought together so many different Jewish students from a variety of backgrounds -- and was careful to cater to all of their needs -- really added to the experience and the discussion. A wonderful experience and a worthy organization.

Open a farm of its own! I think this would really help educate future participants and create a real sense of ownership over the work going on at the farm rather than feeling like a guest at somebody else's.

I wish there had been more educational opportunities over the course of the trip. We spent a lot of time in the field but did not necessarily have a chance to explore many of the issues that came up in more than a cursory depth.

Jewish Farm School is a terrific organization to work with. I ran a professional development workshop and asked them to provide some outdoor educational programming so that participants could physically move and contribute to a good cause. I was impressed by their organization, their passion and their flexibility. Nati is a rare combination of professionalism, down-to-earth realness, joker, serious non-profit businessman and a great person.

design and start educational gardens and farms at schools, community centers, camps and all sorts of other organizations. If Jewish Farm School had $10 million dollars, the world would be a better place.
