JEWISH FAMILY SERVICES
Invite reviews
This organization helps people in the community address psycho social needs ranging from unemployment, holocaust survivors to adult care issues. This organization is available to the community at large but could be viewed as a haven for people who are Jewish. Many years ago, I was a recent Master level graduate and this agency was incredibly helpful to me

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
Feeling I could make a difference
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
people who go above and beyond because they are passionate about what they do. This is not a job to them.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
provide more services and more outreach
Ways to make it better...
Once we reach a strategy, I would like to be more involved with raising money through corporate sponsorships
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
Funding. But I believe we can work it through
One thing I'd also say is that...
they have great strength in the leadership, staff and great clarity of direction. I am proud to say I work with them

JFS is a Columbus, Ohio gem. They go the extra mile with each and every individual who walks though their door (or calls on the phone). Their set of services is comprehensive and job seekers not only get the training and placement assistance they most desperately need, they also receive family and individual counseling needed during a time of crisis.

What a gem of an agency in Columbus, Ohio! They help those most in need, people who don't know where to turn when they are in a vulnerable state. Not only that, but the quality of service and personal care is what you would find from private assistance costing THOUSANDS of dollars more. The staff of Jewish Family Services is phenomenal and are expert at assisting those who lost their job, need parenting help, don't know what to do with their elderly parent, are facing domestic violence issues, need help managing their finances, are hungry, or just need someone to help them cope.
