They provide excellent, efficient service in processing donor requests. The fact that JCF's "profits" are contributed back to the Jewish community is an added bonus.

The staff at Jewish Communal Fund is extremely thorough and responsive. All donations are processed quickly and if a recipient of a donation does not respond within a certain period of time (neglecting to cash a check for instance) the JCF informs me so I can follow up. In general, they are always on top of things.

that anyone who receives a donation that I initiated is also treated with courtesy and respect. There is a general consensus that everyone receives the same excellent service.

They make it easy for the user. Donate money in and advise where you'd like the money sent. Its your own philanthropic foundation, with none of the work ivolved. If you want to do it all online...it is simple. The organization is made up of caring, professional people. It is simply the best of its kind and top notch.

JCF has provided my wife and me with a convenient way to coordinate our charitable giving. They impose clear, strict standards to make sure we are complying with all applicable laws. JCF's officers are always available and responsive, by telephone or email, if questions arise. JCF's overhead costs are kept very low, especially given the burgeoning asset base, which allows participants to know that the benefits are going to end-user charities. One criticism I've had in the past is that the online reports of assets and activity in our acct were often a couple of months behind, while the screen showing those reports indicated that they reflect data as of the date of viewing. During the past year, JCF has reformatted its reporting to make it much better and more current.

An extremely caring organization. They take donor considerations and needs to heart and apply solid financial principals to ensure donations are put to great charitable use. My experience was nothing but positive - they are very quick to respond and very professional. Thorough, without that "big cold corporate" feeling. Wonderful group of dedicated professionals!
