Vacating premises after 80+ violations cited against Jersey Animal Coalition by the New Jersey State Health Dept and South Orange NJ Health Dept, including several animal cruelty citations. After years of mismanagement the animals have to be saved asap.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

To late to make changes The President and "her" Board Members refused to hear the complaints by the many "banned" volunteers. Banned because they were labeled "troublemakers" by the President and Shelter Manager for trying to improve conditions for the animals.

This outstanding and compassionate organization is one of the only true no-kill shelters in the New York metropolitan area. Since its founding 25 years ago, their founder and staff continue their commitment to finding animals a better life from which they came, to providing necessary medical treatment and care, to furthering humane education and sensitivity to all living creatures.
