Last year I decided I want to volunteer for a local shelter and I ended up choosing Itty Kitty Bitty because of the great job they do. It is a all volunteer organization and everyone involved is passionate about the cats and work hard to find them good homes. Two weeks ago I adopted a kitten from them and after the adoption process (phone call, vet info and foster home visit), my husband and I got to have little Minnie with us! She is the cutest and we are very happy!

I came to Itty Bitty Kitty because of one special cat, I wanted a cat to match my personality. I was browsing the local "pet adoption" website and instantly fell head over heels for this one cat, "big dude". I immediately filled out an adoption questionnaire, and I got a call back that same night! The questionnaire handler got big dude's Foster father and I together and we set up a meeting. When I first saw big dude in person, I fell in love, but big dude wanted nothing to do with me. But I just knew he was for me, so I adopted him. And I'm so glad I did! Big dude or "Mr. Big" as I nicknamed him is an absolute joy. He is so sweet and playful,I can't wait to come home and hear him meow and purr for me. I love having a 18lb big boy who thinks he's a lap kitty. If it wasn't for Itty Bitty Kitty, and especially Danny (the Foster father) I would of never found my best friend.

I have adopted from Itty Bitty Kitty twice in the last five years. The first time I adopted, a volunteer contacted my veterinarian for a reference, required proof that both cats that were already living in my home had been tested for FeLV, and visited my home to conduct the actual adoption, ensuring that Teddy would be going to a safe, compatible home. Since I had adopted from Itty Bitty Kitty once already, the second adoption only involved a quick call to my vet to ensure my existing cats were up to date on their vaccinations and basic care. The adoption fee of $75 is a small monetary amount to pay for a cat that has already been tested for FeLV, is up to date on its vaccinations, and has been neutered or spayed. Itty Bitty Kitty is a small cat rescue organization made up solely of volunteers that do the most with their money and make sure each cat in their care is ultimately found the best possible forever home.
