I work with grad students who are looking for jobs. Too often, they are loaded with debt and cannot avoid taking jobs they don't want because they have to start paying off their loans. IF they had learned the rudiments of managing money before they accumulated so much debt, they wouldn't be in the trouble they face when they graduate, with far less job choice than they expected.

If these very smart people had gotten the message from Bubbles the Clown when they were young about saving money, they might have avoided the problems they are facing now. I'd like to endorse the message and the man behind it, because the knowledge is far more valuable than the cost of getting it, and will help everyone manage their own life for the better.

I also know the Feltzenbergs personally and they talk about this non-profit ALL the time. Please support this organization so they can talk about something else for a change.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

learn more about marketing, especially in posting photos and videos of Bubbles, to be able to more clearly share what he does and how he creates the atmosphere of learning about money with children from such a wide range of ages.

I am a medical student in the field of Osteopathic Medicine. I have observed the childhood obesity prevention developed by David Felzenberg, Executive Director of It's About The Kids Education Organization. I was impressed by the involvement and engagement of the children at the event that I attended. Osteopathic medicine emphasizes helping each person achieve a high level of wellness by focusing on health promotion and disease prevention. Mr. Felzenberg (as Bubbles The Clown) presented his childhood obesity prevention program, "No Body Is Perfect," in an educational and entertaining way. The program emphasized health promotion and disease prevention. The main theme of the presentation was that leading a healthy lifestyle by eating well and getting daily exercise is not only important; it is fun.

I have personally experienced the results of this program by seeing the way that the children who attended the program were receptive to the messages of healthy eating and daily exercise. For example, Bubbles The Clown used hand puppets to show some healthy foods to eat, such as fruits and vegetables, and had hand puppets to demonstrate that exercise is fun. The kids helped Bubbles magically produce a bunny rabbit. He went on to involve the children in a discussion of the healthy foods that rabbits eat.

My recommendation would be to let schools and health care providers know about this program. It was presented using a teaching method that I have not seen before. The kids responded enthusiastically to the way it was presented.

I had Bubbles The Clown entertain at my daughter's 4th birthday party a few month's ago. I heard that he was doing a financial literacy program for kids. So, I went to Port Discovery Children's Museum for their Countdown to Kindergarten day. I was pleasantly surprised by the number of children and parents who attended the "Financial Fitness for Kids" workshop that I went to. The subject matter and the way that Bubbles presented the information about saving money was informative and the kids enjoyed it.

I experienced the results by seeing how much my daughter and the other kids genuinely enjoyed the program and learned about basic financial facts. This incident really hit home -- I took my daughter shopping, and she told me that she did not want to buy candy, that she wanted to save her money to adopt a bunny rabbit. (Bubbles The Clown had the children help him magically produce a rabbit during the show).

The show did exceed my expectations. It confirmed that I made the right decision to support this organization financially. I would encourage others to do the same.

I attended one of Bubbles The Clown's financial literacy workshops at Port Discovery Children's Museum in Baltimore. He asked the names and ages of the children. There was a wide range of ages. Some of them were very little (1 year olds) and older ones (up to 12 years old). I am taking the time to write this review because I was genuinely impressed with program. My children (ages 4 and 6 years old) had a lot of fun and absorbed the overall theme of "saving money." Bubbles does have a way with kids. He kept them engaged and responsive.

I personally experienced the results as an attendee, with my two young children, at Port Discovery Children's Museum. What I took away from the presentation was that my daughters were enthusiastic about saving money after they saw Bubbles talking about it. I plan to work with them to reinforce the idea of saving money.

It seemed to me that it would be difficult for a program with a clown to appeal to a wide age range. Bubbles The Clown pulled it off pretty well. i would like this program to be presented at my children's preschool and public school.

My role with It's About the Kids Education Organization is as a volunteer. I have been associated with the organization for one year. I have helped the organization with administrative work (e.g., filing, making copies, and data entry). This is important since there is one staff member, David Felzenberg, Executive Director, who performs as Bubbles The Clown for the educational programs. I volunteer a few hours per month. My observation is that the organization is well-managed, and spends its funds efficiently.

I have volunteered in the organization's office for one year. I can testify to the fact that the operation is run efficiently to maximize the number of programs that can be presented to kids in the Baltimore area. The organization is doing important work by helping kids (and their parents) learn about saving money, about how much fun reading is, and the importance of eating well and exercising for good health.

I am pleased that I am volunteering for a good cause. What I like is the innovative way this the information is presented by Bubbles The Clown. I want this organization to gain recognition that this group is doing important work, and to raise more money to increase the number of kids who can benefit from it.

My family and I went to the financial literacy program that Bubbles The Clown provided at a children's museum. All of us -- my wife, me, and our two daughters -- received benefits from the program. It gave me ideas about how to talk with my children about opening a savings account and having the money grow by interest earned.

I saw how excited my children and the other children at the show were about saving money. When we left the show and went shopping later in the day, my 3 year old told me that she wanted to save her money instead of buying candy. Was I surprised!

From what I saw and the impression that the program had on my children, I would not change a thing.

I sat in at a presentation of Bubbles The Clown's financial literacy program. Frankly, I was thinking that it would be a cute little kiddie program with some fooling around by a clown. However, I gave this organization a 5 star review because the program really did exceed my expectations. If I didn't see it for myself I would not have believed that the program was very educational. The kids absorbed the message of saving money.

I observed the program first-hand and came away thinking that this is a useful program for kids. There is no denying that the children were actively involved in the program. They were not just passive recipients of financial information. I saw the excitement in their eyes and their behavior.

I would stress the educational value of the program. I think that some people would get the impression that the program is "babyish" since it is presented by a clown. It is anything but.

I have made a financial contribution to this organization, because I know some members of the Board of Directors. I thought that if they were involved with the organization that they must be doing worthwhile work. I am very selective about making donations, so I spoke to the Board members I knew and to the Executive Director, David Felzenberg. I am convinced that the mission of the organization, to bring educational programs to kids in an innovative way, has great merit.

I have experienced the program by examining the data of the number of children who have been helped by the organization's programs and where the programs have taken place. Their actions are consistent with the mission of the organization to serve kids in communities in Baltimore where the kids might not have been exposed to this type of information..

Raise more money. Spread the word.

I attended one of the workshops presented by Bubbles The Clown (aka David Felzenberg) at a community event in Baltimore, MD. My overall impression was very positive. From my perspective, the kids were involved in the financial literacy program that Bubbles presented. He didn't just stand in front of the kids and lecture them about money. He didn't talk over their heads. He spoke to them at their level (kids 3 - 9 years old), but didn't talk down to the kids. The kids responded to his questions. It is an interactive program, and the kids appeared to have absorbed the main theme: to save money.

I have a background in early childhood education, and I occasionally advise Mr. Felzenberg about ways that I think the program can be improved by giving constructive criticism.

From what I have observed, the program is very good. I think it would be useful to raise funds in a concerted effort. I understand that the organization is working towards that goal.

I have been very impressed with this organization and the commitment of the volunteers and the Executive Director of It's About The Kids Education Organization. There is a great deal of enthusiasm for the mission of the organization of teaching kids about financial literacy, and childhood obesity prevention. David Felzenberg, Executive Director, presents these programs as Bubbles The Clown. He has been a professional clown for quite a whole. He has the ability to make subjects interesting and keep the attention of the children while they learn valuable lessons.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

I have personally experienced the work of the organization by volunteering at several of the presentations of Bubbles The clown. In addition, I am assisting with a special event to raise funds for these programs.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

My suggestion for changes would to have more exposure of the programs. Perhaps, public schools would benefit from these programs for their younger students.
