This organization operates with absolute integrity and uses their resources completely for the good of the leopards. They are doing it because of their dedication and passion and their stewardship of our donations is fantastic.

I am amazed by the progress this charity has made the last couple of years, and I am very touched by the all the volunteers that put a lot of time and effort in this trust. They are loving and motivating people who don't know the definition of quitting. If it wasn't for them poachers would have killed the last leopards and we would only be able to enjoy those beautiful beings on old recordings and photo's. All in all I wish for the people that read this review to realize that every second put in volunteering, donating or even reviewing this trust isn't wasted, and that with the right attitude great progress can be made in a short period of time.

I am amazed at how they use 100 percent of their funds for actual on the ground work as well as awareness campaigns that actually reach the people needed. They do raise awarness of the plight of the snow leopard to people who do not live in the range nations, but most of that is through social networking as well as e-mail and other internet methods. I am happy to say that, even with their e-mail newsletters and other e-mails, I am not bombarded every week by some e-mail or postal letter asking me to donate. They keep communications balanced so that one is not wondering if they are actually doing something, but at the same time they do not barrage people with money pleas and the like. As I mentioned, they actually focus on educating people about the plight of the snow leopard. What's unique is that they use programs, such as the handicraft program, that helps the people become self-sufficient but also helps show them that the endangered animal is really a needed ally for people. It's balanced with science, which is needed when conserving an animal on which we still do not have good information.

This charity, with only a small core of wonderful people, has grown and developed some of the most effective, imaginative programs for securing the future of one of our planet's most endangered species, while concurrently finding a way to improve the lives of hundreds of the planet's poorest and most endangered people. It is not often that you can support a charity and find your investment doing double the work! But such is the case with The Snow Leopard Trust. Spend a few moments and look over their work on their website, and I think you will be very impressed. Not only does the charity consistently receive the highest rating from Charity Navigator (alone impressive), but its hardworking staff are constantly finding new ways to reach out and grow, even in these toughest of economic times. A most worthy cause and a most worthy charitable donation. GIVE!!!

There are fewer than 7,000 snow leopards left in this world. Were it not for the Snow Leopard Trust, the fate of these animals would be even more perilous than it is now.

I have 'sponsored' the Snow Leopard Trust for a few years now and have seen progress in their work which is due in large part to the donations/memberships/sponsors that they have. The products which are made for sale are good quality and fun. This is one of the only organizations which I continue to support even when money is tight because I know they do what they say they are doing, and I think it is truly important work - not just for the leopards, but for the whole of the world where the leopards reside, the people, the land, and all of us to boot!

My family has been very pleased with our experiences with the Snow Leopard Trust. We have purchased merchandise and symbolic adoptions of snow leopards. Despite living in Japan, our orders arrived very quickly and in great condition. The handmade artisan products were exactly as pictured and described. Furthermore, my kids were so excited when we watched the BBC segment on the Snow Leopard Trust and we saw the local women making the very same products that we purchased. I really like the fact that the Snow Leopard Trust not only researches the beautiful cats, but they also help and educate the locals living in Snow Leopard territory.

The Snow Leopard Trust is a wonderful organization! I have been financially supporting them for years, and see the progress they are making not only via "Snow Leopard Tracks" mailings, but through the internet as well. They are doing a fantastic job keeping the snow leopard population where they should be, in the wild!

I love the Snow Leopard Trust. They are effectively working to save endangered snow leopards. They work well with other organizations with similar goals instead of making things about them. They really care about the people and communities who share territory with snow leopards and are working to improve education, offer microloans and education to start new industries and they sell crafts made by the people in the program. They are making life better for snow leopards and people.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

I've called and written the Snow Leopard Trust several times. Each time I've been treated kindly, personally, and like a valued member of the team. I've even communicated with management about various ideas and programs.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Find ways to utilize the services of volunteers more. We want to do more than just give money.

We have supported the Snow Leopard Trust for a couple of years - as soon as I first learned about this wonderful organization. They not only provide important research about the snow leopards in the wild, but also work with the local people to educate them and develop conservation programs to help save the snow leopards. I have adopted snow leopards through the program and purchased handcrafted items made by the local people. This past year, I received a Snow Leopard Trap Camera adoption for Christmas and it is absolutely amazing to see the images recorded by the camera. I had a couple of questions about the images and received a quick response. This is a wonderful charity to support.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

I am a volunteer interpreter at a zoo that has a snow leopard. Although our snow leopard is in a captive environment, she is the ambassador for snow leopards in the wild. I share the information that I have learned through the Snow Leopard Trust with our guests to educate them about the conservation efforts and programs aimed to save the snow leopards in the wild. Education is key to raising awareness of the plight of these beautiful cats.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Ask them to come to the East coast (Boston) to help spread the word about the charity and their mission. Have a Web chat every few months
