IPPF is a leading advocate of sexual and reproductive health and rights worldwide.

I started collaborating with IPPF in 1984; and, through technical assistance visits to over 40 countries, I have realized how important IPPF’s work is to save lives and allow women, young people, and men to
make decisions over their own bodies and fulfill their basic human rights.

I have participated in the improvement of information systems and data quality in IPPF clinics ranging from the poorest areas in Haiti to clinics located in the Himalayas in Nepal. In those places I have witnessed how IPPF provides essential health services to people who need them most.

I have had the privilege to have been able to travel to the field to see their work on the ground in El Salvador, Belize and the Dominican Republic, and I can unequivocally say that they are indeed changing lives on a daily basis.
