I have been involved with the IMA since 2000. In addition to providing medical services to people of impoverished countries, the International Medical Alliance is a 501 (c) (3)nonprofit organization that helps needy children and their families in the United States, South America, Central America and overseas.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

This organization travels with a medical team of sixty plus with many specialties from maxillo facial surgeons, orthopedic surgeons, general surgeons, dentists, optometrists.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

The volunteers that travel with IMA work 10 days at 12 hour shifts. There is no paid staff. Just a group of folks with big hearts that travel to deliver aid to those that would not otherwise receive help. Extraordinary doctors and staffs.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Great things. It has no paid staff so everything goes into the missions and care for patients. No patient is ever charged for any part of their care.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About once a year

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
