a japanese interpreter is on staff at the international friendship center. Interpreters for other languages are available on a case by case basis. Interpreters are used for weclome visits, doctor and dental appointments and for school registrations. Persons served: 20
to promote an understanding and appreciation of the the education and cultural uniqueness of our foreign residents by facilitating a student exchange program with our friendship city of suzuka, japan. To serve as facilitator for the friendship pact between logan county and the city of suzuka, japan. We provide cultural awareness activities for our local school districts. We assist business partners by providing them with cultural awareness activities to prepare them for international travel and to prepare them for meeting with foreign business contacts. Serving 303 people.
