Reviews for Inside The Orchestra, Jsg
Inside the Orchestra is an outreach program that puts children, preschool thru 8th grade in, and surrounds kids with orchestral music. This is my 27th season conducting this award winning program that educates and entertains 25,000 kids in the Denver Metro Area. We contract anywhere from 15 to 34 professional union musicians drawn from area symphonies, opera and ballet companies to perform for children, musicians who are not only extremely profiecient on their instruments, but also engage the audiences. Of all the programs that I have worked on in my 35 year career-- this concept is the most rewarding. Tom Jensen, Music Director, ISO
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
seeing children go on to take music lessons, major in music, perform with major symphony orchestras after having a concerto experience with our orchestra-- we have one student performer at each of our concerts throughout the season
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
add more professional musicians... !
