inMotion is an incredibly lean and focused organization. It has built on a lifetime of contacts and dedication to serving low income women to create a streamlined clearinghouse that links women in need to talented pro bono attorneys. inMotion trains and supervises all pro bono attorneys, and provides tremendous resources and insight into the areas of family and immigration law. Through inMotion, I provided pro bono legal representation to women in need in divorce, child support, immigration, custody, and spousal support proceedings. I now serve on inMotion's Junior Advisory Board, where I have learned more about the internal workings of the organization. I am tremendously impressed by the dedication and integrity of the inMotion leadership and staff. This is a fabulous organization!

inMotion is a top-tier nonprofit organization that fulfills on its promises to help poor women in dire need of legal services. I am a long-standing supporter and board member of inMotion, starting out as a volunteer attorney about 10 years ago. From the time I was first introduced to inMotion and Cathy Douglass, I knew there were so many compelling things about the organization: its mission of providing free legal services to women who need them to live safe, full lives; the competent and compassionate staff and volunteer attorneys; and most of all the women and children inMotion services. As a board member, I have seen the inner workings of the organization, both with the board and the management. I can honestly say from my experience at inMotion that I believe in the capabilities and integrity of inMotion's management and our board. InMotion, together with Cathy Douglass and her team, is truly the gold standard in the nonprofit world.

I am an attorney who has done pro bono work with inMotion. Their staff attorneys are wonderful guides to the family court system in New York and available to answer questions and guide pro bono attorneys. My clients have been wonderful women whom I enjoy working with. This is a great organization.

I am so happy to donate to such a wonderful organization, where women in need, who are often neglected and even abused, are taught their rights and obtain legal representation so they can get back on their feet. The evidence is in the heart-warming testimony from the many women who have already been helped by inMotion.

As a former public defender and current solo practitioner, I can't emphasize enough the tremendous value that inMotion provides for women who find themselves overwhelmed by abusive relationships and the legal process that ensues. I have seen first hand that the US is not immune to the suffering and injustice that women endure daily. This is often times because they do not know their rights, which means they can be more easily manipulated, or they just don't have an advocate to help them through the process of filing a restraining order, divorce papers, or child custody docs. The services provided by inMotion are so valuable to a female who feels trapped with no resources at her disposal. I am glad that I am able to donate to such a worthy cause and I hope this becomes a nation wide effort.

I participated in the StorybyStory stair climb this year, and was so impressed on how well done the event was. Well over 1000+ climbers came out to support InMotion! Everyone had a great time! I'll definitely be back next year.

inMotion has by far been my favorite organization to spend my summer volunteering at. Everyone who works there is there because they want to be, which provides for such a warm atmosphere. The staff of inMotion helps women in need everyday, and strives to help each and every woman who calls in for help. It is truly incredible what Catherine and the staff of inMotion have accomplished in such a short time, and I know that there is still room for growth and expansion. I wish inMotion and the entire staff the best of luck in their careers, they are truly extraordinary people.
