When I heard about Bill Wade and Inlet Dance Theatre, I was 16 years old with no idea that I would be in the Trainee program two years later. Working with Inlet everyday for a year, has up to this point been the most influential and most memorable moment in my life to this point. I remember the family like environment, the commitment to excellence, and last but not least Bill's way to see someone for what they can be and not what they are that day, or what they were yesterday. There ability to transcend themselves and fully invest in the community is one of the most beautiful things I've ever encountered. Every single person from Bill to the newest company member of Inlet Dance Theatre are some the most hardworking and genuine individuals I've ever met. I refer to Bill as one of my Dads, and all the people that I met and worked with as a Trainee at Inlet, family.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

The smile on at risk youths faces after they had just received a standing ovation, during one of Inlet's SDI performances.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

try to find ample salaries for all involved, everyone in this organization works too hard and does it for little to no compensation. I would love to see what could happen with higher salaries for the company.

More feedback...

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the family like environment and the commitment to excellence.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

open, passionate, loving, genuine individuals that are committed to further people through the means of Dance.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Affect and touch a lot more people.

Ways to make it better...

I don't really think I could make it any better than it was.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

fiscal needs. They need an executive director, and an education outreach director. Two people that can laser in on two areas that one person is trying to do whilst wearing many hats.

One thing I'd also say is that...

I probably wouldn't have made it this far without Inlet.
