To help all children become curious, independent learners and receive the support they need to realize their full academic and personal potential. Children who can not read proficiently by the end of the 3rd grade are are more likely to drop out of school and face diminished life prospects. Students in low income neighborhoods are at the greatest disadvantage in developing these skills. In2Books was founded in 1998 to help students during this critical period by providing innovative curricula, professional development, and engaging business and civic community members as adult mentors.

Reviews for In2books (Epals Foundation)

Rating: 1 stars

I have tried the In2Books for two years and have been completely dissatisfied with the schools. It appears that this program is not meaningful enough to make it a positive goal for the teachers as well as students to read and write letters. I feel that it should be required and not just a program that is a hit and a miss if there is enough time to do it. This should be included in their curriculum and be part of their grade. Anyways, I do not plan on putting any more time into this program since its not taken seriously!
