Review from Guidestar

I have been involved with HF since the Earthquake in Pakistan. I have been to the fundraiser diner "Dine for Humanity" in Rancho Cucamonga, CA and saw their efforts in Haiti Earthquake. The good thing i like about this organization is that it works at grassroots level in almost every continent and have various programs in which every volunteer can fit him/herself. They have disaster relief efforts, educational programs, poverty relief programs, safe drinking water programs and many more. I feel honored to be a part of this great organization!

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

many disaster relief efforts around the world such as tsunami in Indonesia, floods in Bangladesh, Earthquake in Pakistan and Haiti, etc.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

I do not think there are any changes to be made since 93% of funds go directly to the relief efforts and their system is very well organized.

More feedback...

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

Fundraising dinner and earthquake relief efforts

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

easy going, very friendly and had a passion to help humanity.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

It could change the continent of Africa with better education and clean drinking water.

Ways to make it better...

this organization could get more funding

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

less funding

One thing I'd also say is that...

they have variety of programs and every volunteer can fit in one of them

Recently I was invited to attend a Fundraising dinner, called "Dine for Humanity" in Rancho Cucamonga CA. The Humanity First Volunteer, approched me handed me a flyer about the dinner. I had never heard of HF before, and therefore, a little hesitant to donate any money. I decided to google HF, and to my surprise, HF has been involved greatly in humanitarian work. I will attend dinner, and shall see what is different about HF and other NGO.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

So far I have good feeling about HF

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

polite and to the point

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

According, to HF volunteer, the over head expenses of HF are less then 10%, and almost 90% funds are actuly put to use for Humanity. So, I think 9 million buck would go to serve Humanity
