In October 2012, I submitted an application to adopt a dog. I followed the instructions, gave them all information that they asked for and dutifully faxed it over to them.

When a week passed and no word, I called, and was told that the person handling applications is "very" busy and will get back to me. I left my name and number. She never responded. So I called again. Same story. Left my name and number and explained that this is the second time I am calling. No one ever got back to me. The organization may be humane to animals but they are certainly unprofessional, arrogant and irresponsible towards humans.
