Serving on the board of Hull Performing Arts has been a tremendous honor. This organization is at the forefront of a tremendous and spirited resurgence of the arts occurring throughout the town of Hull. Furthermore, the HPA is a vital part of this thriving artistic seaside community. During the past few years, the HPA has increased its membership and received recognition at the state level, having been granted the Massachusetts Cultural Council's "Gold Star" Award for its 2009 production of "On This River." The HPA has consistently proven a level of excellence in community theatre worthy of distinction and is the cornerstone of the performing arts in Hull, Massachusetts.

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
Before becoming a board member I saw the Joshua James performance and was amazed! I laughed. I cried. I was taken to another place in time. Asounding.
Having seen that performance and having an active role in perfomance arts throughout my life, it was a no brainer when they asked if I'd be interested in participating on the board.
Now we are in the process of putting together another show about Hull's amazing history,Paragon Park. I highly encourage everyone to come and see for themselves what this little 7 mile penninsula can do! Hull's Performing Arts could compete next to any big city's! (ok, so we'd need a few more in the fund category, but we sure have it all in the creativity and passion and ability categories!)
Come see for yourself. If you'd like to be on our mailing list, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
