I think most people hesitate to become involved in a charitable organization because they do not have time or don't think they can make a difference. Volunteer just once with Hugs for Brady and you will change your opinion. This organization has tremendous leadership. I have not found a more dedicated, selfless and energetic group of leaders and volunteers. Their attitude and drive is infectuous and the cause is as noble as they come. Who can say no to helping children with cancer - volunteer once and you'll be back. I think one of the areas that impresses me the most is the commitment of some of our younger volunteers. If you think today's youth is misguided, come meet our team.

The organization is on a solid foundation - but we need to get more people involved to continue the growth.

Hugs for Brady Foundation is a 100% volunteer non-profit organization focusing on helping children and their families who are battling the horrors of childhood cancer. The foundation is located in Central New Jersey and works closely with the Cancer Institute of New Jersey and the Bristol Myers Squibb Children's Hospital. Hugs for Brady is less than 3 years old and has supplied BMSCH with new TVs, renovated play rooms and several thousands of dollars worth of toys and custom built wagons. We have also funded New Jersey's 1st pediatric hematology/oncology young investigator program.
